  Human Rights History

The Human Rights History is a structured orally-administered survey designed to collect data on human rights violations experienced by the respondent and their household members during the previous year. It can be modified to collect data across a specific time period other than one year. Permission to use this survey instrument is granted to researchers, social workers, development professionals, and human rights advocates so long as the instrument is properly cited in any published work and is not altered in any way other than to modify the period of time about which data is being collected.
